Edition 2025 — Sagra ro Pani Cunzatu

The 2025 edition of the Sagra ro Pani Cunzatu was held at the end of June on the churchyard of the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle in Pozzallo, as part of the patronal festivities. The food stalls offered traditional Sicilian seasoned bread in its various variations, while a folk group opened the evening with traditional dances and songs, followed by live musical entertainment in an authentically Sicilian atmosphere.

The 2025 Sagra ro Pani Cunzatu took place at the end of June on the churchyard of the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle in Pozzallo, in the province of Ragusa, within the festivities for the patron saint, Saint Paul the Apostle of the Gentiles.

That year, too, the absolute star was the pani cunzatu, homemade bread seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, fresh tomatoes, anchovies, primo sale, and oregano, served at the stalls in its traditional variations along with other typical local products. After the inauguration of the stalls by the parish priest and the authorities, the evening continued with the performance of a Sicilian folk group and live musical entertainment. Decorated carts and hay bales recreated the atmosphere of Sicily from the past, confirming the festival as one of the most beloved events of the Pozzallo summer.
