Edition 2025 — Festa dell'Assunta a Lozio

On August 15, 2025, Lozio celebrated its patron saint Santa Maria Assunta in the hamlet of Laveno, combining the religious celebrations of Ferragosto with the village festival, featuring spit-roasted meat and polenta, casoncelli, music, and activities for children.

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Festival of Santa Maria Assunta renewed on August 15th the tradition of the Camun Ferragosto in Lozio, in the hamlet of Laveno. Between faith and conviviality, the community gathered around the church for the celebrations dedicated to the patron saint and for the festive moments.

With spit-roasted meat with polenta for lunch, casoncelli for dinner, music, and activities for children, the festival confirmed the deep bond between the town and its patron saint, in the authentic spirit of mountain festivals.
