Sagra di San Valentino di Lurago Marinone

In 2025, the Sagra di San Valentino in Lurago Marinone reached its 344th edition, taking place from August 29 to September 1. The procession with the urn of Saint Valentine, which began in the afternoon to reach the parish church, represented the most heartfelt religious moment, while the evenings offered illuminations, music, games, stalls, and the traditional fireworks. The food stalls featured traditional specialties, from snails to polenta. Organized by Pro Loco Lurago Marinone, the festival confirmed its role as the symbolic event of the Como village and the guardian of a centuries-old tradition.
