Sagra di San Rocco

The 2025 Sagra di San Rocco animated the Antico Borgo San Rocco of Gorizia from August 8 to 17. The inauguration on August 8th, at 7 PM, featured dances by the Santa Gorizia group, the philharmonic band of Ronchi dei Legionari, and the traditional carriage procession, as well as a charity raffle with over 12,000 prizes.

Among the events, on August 10th, the 50th Gara dei Scampanotadôrs was held with ringers from Gorizia, Slovenia, and Friuli, accompanied by the Fantasy orchestra. The evenings offered concerts and dance orchestras. The meetings under the tree covered topics such as guided tours of Gorizia's sites, the history of refugees in Wagna during the Great War, and Gorizia as the European capital of cuisine. Three charity tombola games with €3,000 prizes took place on August 11th, 14th, and 16th. On August 16th, the patron saint's day, a solemn mass and the 39th edition of the Mattone su Mattone award were held; the festival concluded on August 17th with the multilingual performance "Suns di periferie" (Suns of the suburbs).
