The Festival of Bellombra
The Sagra di San Giacomo is the festival of the hamlet of Bellombra, within the municipality of Adria (province of Rovigo). It is held annually around the end of July, coinciding with the feast day of Saint James the Apostle (July 25th).
Between Gastronomy and Community
The festival features food stalls with traditional dishes, music and dance evenings, and festive moments for all ages, in a popular format typical of village festivals in the Polesine region.
Organizers
The event is managed by the Circolo Sant'Eurosia Bell'Ombra in collaboration with the Parrocchia di Bellombra (Parish of Bellombra), ASD Atletico Bellombra, and the Pro Loco of Adria, under the patronage of the Municipal Administration of Adria. It is one of the festivals that keeps the identity of the hamlets in the Adria area alive.
