Edition 2025 — Sagra dello Spaghetto dei Carbonai

In July 2025, the Sagra dello Spaghetto dei Carbonai enlivened Fratticiola Selvatica, Perugia, with ten evenings dedicated to spaghetti alla carbonara and local peasant cuisine. The program included the Donkey and Packhorse Review, the Palio del Carbonaio, and live music and DJ sets every evening.

The 2025 edition of the Sagra dello Spaghetto dei Carbonai confirmed the strong link between Fratticiola Selvatica, near Perugia, and its tradition as a village of charcoal burners. The Pro Loco stands offered spaghetti alla carbonara, beans with pork rind, and stewed lamb, while the folkloric program featured the Donkey and Packhorse Review and the Palio del Carbonaio, the race of district jockeys on mules. The evenings were enlivened by dance orchestras and DJ sets at the Donkey Pub, in one of the most characteristic sagre in the Perugia area.
