In 2025 too, the Sagra delle Radici enlivened the fourth Sunday of October in Soncino, with the bitter root served in the square with sausage, food stalls, polenta, and Cremonese mostarda, organised by the Pro Loco.
The 2025 edition of the Sagra delle Radici took place on the fourth Sunday of October in the historic centre of Soncino. The bitter root, a typical product of the Cremonese area, was the star of the food stalls, served with sausage in the square and offered in its various preparations, accompanied by polenta and Cremonese mostarda. The festival, which began in 1966, confirmed its role as a major autumn event in the medieval village.
