Edition 2025 — Sagra della Polenta

The 49th Sagra della Polenta di Santa Maria in Selva took place from September 17 to 21, 2025, in the hamlet of Treia, in the province of Macerata. Five days of celebration with food stalls, polenta in traditional sauces, live music, folklore, tournaments, and a charity raffle, marked by the conviviality and Marche tradition that has characterized this beloved village festival for almost half a century.

The 49th edition of the Sagra della Polenta di Santa Maria in Selva was held from September 17 to 21, 2025, opening on Thursday, September 17, at 9:15 PM, with free admission. As tradition dictates, the absolute stars were the food stalls, with polenta served in the three classic sauces — sausage, duck, and salt cod — accompanied by grilled meats, polenta fritters, and local wines.

The program alternated between gastronomy, folklore, music, and sport, with dancing evenings, Marche folk groups, and the charity raffle. In Treia (MC), the festival confirmed its role as a major popular event in the Macerata hinterland, organized by volunteers in yellow uniforms affiliated with the Association of Polenta Makers of Italy.
