Edition 2025 — Sagra della Podolica
In 2025, the Sagra della Podolica once again enlivened Pescopagano, celebrating the queen of the Lucanian pastures with smoked caciocavallo, DOP cheeses, prized meats, and reenactments of the agricultural trades of the past, confirming itself as a key event for the rural culture of high Basilicata.
The 2025 edition of the Sagra della Podolica brought thousands of gastronomy and peasant culture enthusiasts to Pescopagano. Between the stands of podolic caciocavallo and DOP cheeses, and the historical reenactments of threshing, milking, and cheesemaking, the event organized by the Pratica...mente association once again told the story of the deep bond between the village and the symbolic cattle breed of its pastures.
