Edition 2025 — Sagra della Castagna - Calvello
The 2025 Edition
The 25th edition of the Sagra della Castagna e dei Prodotti del Sottobosco (Chestnut and Forest Products Festival) was held in Calvello on October 25 and 26, 2025, opening on Saturday at 10:30 AM in Piazza Falcone. Among the events: food stalls with chestnuts, mushrooms, and truffles, the typical menu for €20 featuring scamorza alle castagne and handmade pasta, shuttle buses to the communal chestnut grove for free picking, Saturday evening's disco tarantella, Sunday's concert by Kekko Folk at 7 PM, and final fireworks at 11 PM. The festival was part of the "Autunno a Calvello" (Autumn in Calvello) event series, active every weekend in October and the first few days of November.
