Sagra della Castagna a Trecchina

In 2025, the Sagra della Castagna in Trecchina reached its 25th edition, spread over the three weekends of October 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26. The festival featured tastings of chestnuts and derived products, collection excursions in the woods of the Valle del Noce, and entertainment by folk groups. On Saturday, October 25th, a celebratory conference titled "The Future in Tradition: 25 Years of the Sagra della Castagna of Trecchina" reviewed the history of the event, which attracts around twenty thousand visitors each year.
