Edition 2025 — Sagra della Carne di Pecora — Tavenna
In 2025, Tavenna again hosted the Lamb Meat Festival (Sagra della Carne di Pecora) in early September during the Saint Irene days, featuring sheep meat specialties from Basso Molise and the Craftsmanship Exhibition (Mostra dell'Artigianato) dedicated to bobbin lace.
On September 2nd and 3rd, 2025, the Pro Loco of Tavenna hosted the traditional Sagra della Carne di Pecora alla Sant'Irene, with tastings of sheep meat dishes and the Craftsmanship Exhibition featuring exquisite bobbin lace. The event, accompanied by music and folk dances, reaffirms the village's connection in the Province of Campobasso to its gastronomic and artisan traditions.
