Edition 2025 — Sagra dell'Iperbole

The first edition of Sagra dell'Iperbole took place from July 11 to 13, 2025, in the Parco delle Antiche Terme Jacobelli in Telese Terme, province of Benevento. Three evenings of stand-up comedy, live music, and live-recorded podcasts, under the artistic direction of Carmine Del Grosso, brought well-known names of Italian comedy and local Campania artists to the thermal park.

The first edition, July 2025

Sagra dell'Iperbole debuted from July 11 to 13, 2025, at the Parco delle Antiche Terme Jacobelli in Telese Terme, Campania, under the artistic direction of Carmine Del Grosso and organized by Antonio Troiano. A typical day began around 6:30 PM with a podcast recorded in front of the audience, continued with two comedy shows in the evening, and closed with a concert.

Comedians, musicians, and guests from the worlds of art and communication took the stage, creating a mix that immediately defined the festival's identity. Tickets started at 15 euros, and the event featured Comedy Central as a media partner, signaling a step up in scale compared to a typical summer village event.

The aftermath

The success of the first edition took the project beyond the region, with a stop in Milan, and then back to Telese Terme in 2026 with an even larger edition.

Friday, July 11: Will Sant, Anastasio, Sandro Cappai, and Giordano Folla with interviews with Jorit, Francesco Arienzo, and Mario Raz. Saturday, July 12: Ghemon, Tommaso Primo, Carmine Del Grosso, Francesco Milleto, and Mister X. Sunday, July 13: Vincenzo Comunale, Francesca Esposto, Davide DDL, Sandro Cappai, and Giordano Folla with interviews with Nello Taver and Michela Giraud, plus a concert by Napoleone. Each day followed the same schedule: live podcast around 6:30 PM, first comedy show at 9:00 PM, second show at 10:00 PM, and concert at 11:00 PM.
