Edition 2025 — Sagra del Tordo
The 67th Sagra del Tordo was held in Montalcino from October 24 to 26, 2025. The event was inaugurated on Friday, October 24 at 6:30 PM in Piazza del Popolo with the presentation of the work by artist Irene Raspollini, the prize awarded to the winning district along with the Silver Arrow.
On Saturday, October 25, folk shows, the pageant, the drawing of the archers, and the Provaccia (the preliminary archery test) took place. On Sunday, October 26, the most important day of the festival, the decisive competition was held between the archers of Borghetto, Pianello, Ruga, and Travaglio. Over the two days, the gardens and the spaces beneath the Fortress hosted food stalls with typical Montalcino dishes; a shuttle service connected the parking lots to the historic center on Sunday.
