Sagra del Riso Vialone

The 36th edition of the Sagra del Riso Vialone was held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Cascina Vialone in Sant'Alessio con Vialone. The morning began at 10:00 AM with the arrival of the historic Viscontea cycling tour, followed at 11:30 AM by mass in the chapel of San Biagio. The main event was the grand lunch in the farmhouse courtyard with traditional Lombard risottos.

The afternoon featured the awards ceremony for the "Spighe Verdi 2025" (Green Ears 2025) competition organized by Confagricoltura Pavia, conferences on sustainability and innovation in agriculture, and an exhibition by the University of Pavia titled "Cultivating the Future: Agriculture, Energy, Communities." The 2025 edition also marked the inauguration of the restored Pila del Riso (Rice Mill), a rural building recovered as a symbol of the region's agricultural heritage.
