Sagra del Formaggio Tombea — Val Vestino

The 2025 edition of the Cheese Festival took place as tradition dictates in Cima Rest, a historic hamlet in the Municipality of Magasa, on the second Sunday of September. That year too, Tombea, a Slow Food Presidium, was the undisputed star: tastings, food stalls, and producers' stands enlivened the day amidst the characteristic straw-roofed barns. The event reaffirmed the deep bond between the Val Vestino community, alpine farming, and transhumance, reiterating the territory's commitment to promoting a cheese aiming for DOP recognition.
