Sagra del Ceppone Festival

The eighteenth edition

On December 6th and 7th, 2025, Largo dell'Annunziata hosted the eighteenth Sagra del Ceppone, starting at 7:00 PM on both evenings. The large log lit in the center of the square served as a meeting point for the San Michele Arcangelo community and the locals, while volunteers served cuzzetiello with soffritto, freshly fried zeppole, sausage sandwiches, and mulled wine at the stalls.

Opening of the local Christmas season

The 2025 edition inaugurated the “Napul' è Natale” program promoted by the Municipality of Piano di Sorrento, which began on December 5th with the tree lighting in Piazza Cota and continued until Epiphany with concerts, nativity scenes, Santa's House, and the “Pink Christmas” fair at Villa Fondi, the latter held during the same weekend as the festival. As per tradition, the proceeds from the evenings were destined for the parish's charitable and solidarity activities.
