In 2025, the Sagra del Basilico e del Du Cen once again enlivened the historic center of Vallecrosia with its typical basil dishes, traditional Ligurian stuffed vegetables, and musical evenings with an orchestra, confirming its status as a highly anticipated summer event in the Imperia region.
The 2025 edition of the Sagra del Basilico e del Du Cen took place in the historic center of Vallecrosia as part of the town's summer calendar. The stands offered specialties of western Ligurian cuisine: stuffed zucchini flowers, zucchini, peppers, eggplants, and savoy cabbage, along with basil recipes. The event, accompanied by the Sagra del Ripieno, attracted residents and tourists to the narrow streets of the village, with live music and dancing evenings.
