Sagra de li Pizzond Festival

The 21st edition of the Sagra de li Pizzond enlivened Santo Stefano di Torricella Sicura from August 9th to 12th, 2025. The absolute stars were the pizzond, among the most representative dishes of Abruzzo's rustic peasant cuisine: leavened dough fritters stuffed in every way, with prosciutto, cheeses, vegetables, and genuine local products.

Each evening, in addition to tasting the fritters, the public enjoyed live musical entertainment, folk dancing, and a joyful atmosphere that brought together the entire community of the village. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Santo Stefano APS with the patronage of the Municipality of Torricella Sicura and the support of the BIM Consortium, confirmed its role as a key identity event for the Teramo area, celebrating taste, tradition, and Abruzzo identity.
