Sagra dà Piciòta Nicosiana Festival

The fourth edition of the Sagra dà Piciòta Nicosiana brought Piazza San Francesco di Paola in Nicosia (Enna) to life on December 21 and 22, 2025. For two days, the square transformed into a culinary journey dedicated to piciòta, the traditional Nicosia dish made from chickling vetch flour and legumes, served in variations with borage and bacon or broccoli and sausage.

Alongside the tastings, visitors were able to stroll through the Christmas markets, featuring artisanal products and local specialties, immersing themselves in the holiday spirit. The evenings concluded with live music performances, adding joy and conviviality to the event and confirming the festival as one of Nicosia's most beloved winter gastronomic appointments.
