Sacred Representation of the Passion of Christ

The 2025 edition confirmed the vitality of this centuries-old tradition. In Torre Santa Susanna, the Passion was performed on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in Piazza Matteotti, following the stops in Erchie (April 12, Piazza Umberto I) and Mesagne (April 13, Piazza Orsini del Balzo). On the widespread stage of the historic centre, the Citizens' Committee "Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ", chaired by Fabrizio D'Aprile and featuring over a hundred performers, staged the script Tu...! Noi...! signed by Franco Tomai. As a cultural backdrop, a conference was held in the municipal library with the participation of Professor Claudio Bernardi from the Catholic University of Milan, testifying to the event's valorisation path towards UNESCO recognition promoted by Europassione per l'Italia.
