Edition 2025 — Rye Bread Festival
The 2025 edition of the Rye Bread Festival took place on August 9 in Rhêmes-Saint-Georges, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in the hamlet of Vieux. At the community oven, traditional black rye bread was baked, with the possibility of purchase, on a day dedicated to the peasant culture of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
The 2025 Rye Bread Festival renewed the tradition of black bread in Rhêmes-Saint-Georges. On Saturday, August 9, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the community oven of Vieux, artisanal rye bread was baked and could be purchased fresh from the oven. The day, sponsored by the Gran Paradiso National Park, highlighted the peasant culture and typical products of the Val di Rhêmes.
