Edition 2025 — Run2Castles

The fourth edition of the Run2Castles took place on Sunday, January 12, 2025, postponed from the traditional Epiphany date. 427 athletes, including 336 men and 91 women, took part in the 10.5 km race from Aci Castello to the Castello Ursino in Catania, along a route crossing the Ionian seafront and the historic center of Catania.

The 2025 edition of the Run2Castles, the fourth of the event, took place on Sunday, January 12, 2025, with a 9:00 AM start from Piazza Castello in Aci Castello. The race, initially scheduled for January 6, was postponed by a few days.

427 athletes (336 men and 91 women) took part in the competition. The 10.5-kilometer track crossed the most spectacular spots of the coastline and Catania: Via Antonello da Messina, the Lungomare della Scogliera and Lungomare Artale Alagona, Viale Ruggero di Lauria, Piazza Europa, Viale Africa, Via VI Aprile, the Archi della Marina, and finally the historic center with entry through Porta Uzeda, Piazza Duomo, and Via Garibaldi, finishing in front of the Castello Ursino.
