Ruggero da Fraine Art and Culture Award

The 6th edition of the Ruggero da Fraine Art and Culture Award was held on August 18 and 19, 2025, in Fraine, organized by the Pro Loco. The evening of August 18, at the Mother Church in Piano della Torre, featured the presentation of the book by lawyer and writer Vincenzo Chielli and the poetry collection by Professor Antonino Tilli, a meeting with the Frainese Mutual Aid Society of Paterson (New Jersey), a debate on gender-based violence with the Me.Too association, and a meeting on food intolerances with nutritionist Claudia Antonella D'Ambrosio.

On August 19, at Largo Piano della Torre near the Church of San Silvestro, the awards ceremony took place: the award was bestowed upon Monsignor Mauro Lalli, Archbishop and Apostolic Nuncio, and Giovanni Notaro, General Secretary of CISL Abruzzo Molise. The evening concluded with a buffet of local products.

August 18 (Mother Church, Piano della Torre, 6:00 PM): presentation of the book 'Patri nun ti scantare' by Vincenzo Chielli; presentation of the collection 'La voce del Silenzio' by Antonino Tilli; meeting with Antonio Finamore of the Frainese Mutual Aid Society of Paterson (NJ); 'Voci che rompono il silenzio', meeting with Pasqualino De Mattia of the Me.Too association on gender-based violence; 'Intolleranze alimentari e genetiche', meeting with nutritionist Claudia Antonella D'Ambrosio. August 19 (Largo Piano della Torre, San Silvestro Church, 6:00 PM): reading and awards ceremony of the 6th edition, followed by a buffet with local products.
