Edition 2025 — Rose Festival – Roseto della Sorpresa

In 2025, the Roseto della Sorpresa in Castell'Alfero once again offered its traditional spring openings during the month of May, the period of peak flowering. During the opening days, visitors were able to discover for free the collection of approximately 500 varieties of antique and botanical roses gathered by Professor Piero Amerio, accompanied by the garden's managers through the blooming flowerbeds of the Monferrato Astigiano.

2025 Edition

In May 2025, the Roseto della Sorpresa in Castell'Alfero (AT), in the Piedmontese Monferrato, renewed its appointment with the spring openings dedicated to the blooming of the roses. The 14,000 sqm botanical garden, recognized by the Piedmont Region, welcomed visitors for free tours among its approximately 500 varieties of antique and botanical roses.

As per tradition, the openings were organized by the Associazione Amici del Roseto della Sorpresa, with guided tours led by the garden's managers. The initiative confirmed the rose garden's role as one of the most evocative spots in the Asti area during the flowering month.
