Edition 2025 — Roscigno Vecchia is Alive

From August 1st to 10th, 2025, Roscigno Vecchia came alive again with ten days of cultural and musical events, presented at the Town Hall at the end of July. The program, the result of an agreement between the Municipality of Roscigno, the Fondazione Monte Pruno, and the Pro Loco Roscigno Vecchia, alternated sunset concerts, musical ensembles, and gala evenings with national guests such as Chiara Francini and Roby Facchinetti, with the village museum and cultural spaces open to visitors.

The 2025 edition of "Roscigno Vecchia is Alive" took place from August 1st to 10th in the abandoned village of Roscigno Vecchia, in the Municipality of Roscigno (Province of Salerno, Campania). The calendar was officially presented at the Town Hall in the second half of July, in the presence of Mayor Pino Palmieri, the president of the Fondazione Monte Pruno Michele Albanese, and the president of the Pro Loco Franco Palmieri.

The program combined classical music and popular entertainment: it opened with a sunset concert dedicated to the memory of the place, continued with a saxophone ensemble, and reached its highlight with two gala evenings featuring Chiara Francini and Roby Facchinetti, who were interviewed on the stage set up in the village. The closing was entrusted to a musical evening with live performances and DJ sets.

Throughout the festival, the village museum and cultural spaces remained open, offering visitors an immersive experience among the stone houses, the square, and the alleys of the "walking village." The initiative was supported by Banca Monte Pruno, the Associazione Monte Pruno Giovani, and dLiveMedia.
