2025 Roscetta Chestnut Festival — 47th Edition
The 47th edition of the Roscetta Chestnut Festival was held in Canistro Inferiore (AQ) on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the streets of the historic center. Organized by the Pro Loco of Canistro APS, the event featured over 70 food and craft stalls, street artist performances, marching bands and stilt walkers, live music, trekking routes, chestnut cultivation seminars, and a painting competition.
Despite adverse weather conditions, the edition attracted thousands of visitors from across the Abruzzo Region and beyond. The president of the Pro Loco, Enrico Cesareo, highlighted the community's team spirit, announcing that work on the 48th edition would resume the very next day.
