Edition 2025 — Ronegga Almkirchtag

The 2025 edition of the Ronegga Almkirchtag took place in late August on the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alm, in the municipality of Rodengo/Rodeneck. As every year, numerous hikers ascended to the alp for the mountain mass at the Pianer-Kreuz chapel, dedicated to Saint Bartholomew, the patron saint of shepherds. The day continued among the huts with Tyrolean folk music and South Tyrolean culinary specialties served by the mountain dairies.

The Ronegga Almkirchtag 2025 renewed the traditional late-summer appointment on the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alm, in Rodengo/Rodeneck (South Tyrol). The day opened with a mountain mass at the Pianer-Kreuz chapel in honor of Saint Bartholomew, followed by musical entertainment among the alpine huts.

Various Tyrolean folk music ensembles enlivened the refuges, while the mountain dairies—including the Rastnerhütte and the Starkenfeldhütte—offered typical South Tyrolean dishes, from alpine cheeses to polenta with ribs. An authentic alpine festival, immersed in the pastures and Dolomite landscapes of Lower Pusteria.
