Edition 2025 — Romito Trail

The fifth edition of the Romito Trail was held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Padula, with start and finish at the Certosa di San Lorenzo. Over two hundred athletes from several European countries took part in the 30 km long course and the 18 km short course, while the 7 km non-competitive trek involved families and walkers. The edition's slogan: «Give me five». Every participant received the Padula stone medal.

On August 24, 2025, the Certosa di Padula was transformed for a day into a theatre of sport and nature: the fifth edition of the Romito Trail, promoted by Nicola Tierno with the ASD Metalfer Podistica Brienza 2000, brought over 200 athletes from various European countries to the trails of the Vallo di Diano.

The programme included the "flagship" 30 km course with approximately 1,500-1,600 metres of positive elevation gain, the 18 km short course with 850-900 metres of elevation gain, and a 7 km free-pace walk open to everyone. The tracks touched upon the Madonna del Romito path, the area of the ancient Cosilinum, and the Campolongo plateau.

At the awards ceremony, attended by the Mayor of Padula, Michela Cimino, and Councillor Giuseppe Tierno, every participant received the now-famous Padula stone medal. The organisation was supported by the collaboration of ASD Crazy Bike and ASD La Vita è un Ciclo.
