2025 Romantic Night in Castroreale
In 2025, Castroreale joined the 10th edition of the Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, celebrated in the village on June 21, 2025. Together with other Sicilian and Italian villages, the Aragonese historic center lit up with candles and torches from sunset until late at night.
The evening featured music, guided walks through the alleys and medieval monuments, poetry readings under the stone walls, and tastings of local products and wines. Ideally uniting Castroreale with the over two hundred participating villages were the Pensiero d'Amore dessert and the traditional midnight kiss.
