Edition 2025 — Roman Dream

In 2025, the archaeological area of Augusta Bagiennorum in Bene Vagienna continued its enhancement efforts with guided tours and cultural initiatives, particularly during the European Archaeology Days. The site, which is the subject of new excavation campaigns led by the University of Turin, welcomed enthusiasts and curious visitors to explore the Roman theater, the forum, and the sacred area of the ancient city.

Before the special event of 2026, the archaeological area of Augusta Bagiennorum had already consolidated its role as a cultural hub in Piedmont during 2025, with a program of visits and openings dedicated to the public.

In particular, on the occasion of the European Archaeology Days, the Bene Vagienna site was proposed as a destination to discover the remains of the theater with its quadriporticus, the sacred area, and the forum, accompanied by insights into the new archaeological research conducted in the field. These initiatives laid the groundwork for the immersive and theatrical formula that would characterize subsequent events.
