Edition 2025 — Roma Unplugged

The fourth edition of the Roma Unplugged Festival took place from September 7 to 15, 2025, in the Appia Antica Archaeological Park, Rome. A program that alternated guided walks among the monuments of the Regina Viarum, lecture-concerts, and major musical events, culminating in the concert by Paolo Fresu and Daniele Di Bonaventura in the Catacomb of Domitilla. All events were free of charge subject to availability.

The 2025 edition of the Roma Unplugged Festival enlivened the Appia Antica Archaeological Park from September 7 to 15, confirming the formula that weaves music, history, and nature. The festival opened at the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella with the lecture-concert «The First Jubilee», which featured narration by Mattia Sbragia accompanied by the vibraphone of Pasquale Mirra. Among the highlights, the concert by the Francesco Cafiso Quartet at the Villa of Maxentius and the walks that led from the Catacombs of San Callisto to the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella. The grand finale, on September 15, brought the audience into the semi-hypogean Basilica of SS. Nereo and Achilleo, in the Catacomb of Domitilla, with the musical dialogue between Paolo Fresu and Daniele Di Bonaventura and the presence of Mons. Pasquale Iacobone.
