Roio del Sangro Nativity Scene

The 2025 edition of the Roio del Sangro nativity scene represented yet another chapter in a Christmas tradition maintained by the community of the Abruzzo village. As in previous editions, the display was set up in the heart of the village, in the province of Chieti, and documented through photographs collected on the community's website. The nativity scene confirmed itself as one of the most heartfelt identity-defining events of Roio del Sangro, capable of uniting the small population of the village around the authentic meaning of Christmas, made of sharing, faith, and a sense of belonging.

The initiative is part of a series of editions documented over the years, a sign of the continuity of a tradition that the village preserves with care despite the small size of the community.
