Edition 2025 — I Misi i ll'Annu
In 2025, the Rodì Milici Carnival once again presented "The Months of the Year" on Sunday, March 2 and Shrove Tuesday, March 4. The town squares served as the stage for the Dispute of the Crown, with the Twelve Months, the King, the Poet, and the Wayfarer in costume, faithful to a tradition passed down since 1905.
The 2025 edition of I Misi i ll'Annu in Rodì Milici took place on Sunday, March 2 and Shrove Tuesday, March 4. As per tradition, the fifteen characters—the Twelve Months, the King, the Poet, and the Wayfarer—enlivened the town squares with the Dispute of the Crown, recited in an agro-pastoral dialect and accompanied by the parade on caparisoned horses. The event confirms the strong bond between the Municipality of Rodì Milici and this intangible heritage of Sicily.
