Rocchetta Medievale – Historical Pageant, Coena Medievalis and the Burning of the Castle

From August 22 to 25, 2025, Rocchetta Sant'Antonio relived its medieval past with four days of events in the historic center. On Friday the 22nd, the Grand Historical Pageant opened the festival at 5:00 PM, followed by the challenge between the four districts (Cittadella, Capannoni, Piazza, and Pescara) with popular games and a donkey race, the investiture of the marquis, and the "Calici a Corte" evening with a medieval fairground and music.

On Saturday the 23rd, after the procession to the citadel, the Coena Medievalis was held, a banquet under the stars with the Camerata Musica Antiqua and the Cavalieri del Fuoco, culminating at midnight in the Burning of the Castle with sword battles and fireworks. On Sunday the 24th and Monday the 25th, the Rocchetta Music Fest featured the "Note a Sud Città di Foggia" brass orchestra, soprano Ripalta Bufo, and a tribute band concert, closing the summer in the Monti Dauni village with music.
