The 51st edition

The 2025 edition of the Roccagiovine Chestnut Festival was held on October 18 and 19. Saturday started at 8:00 AM with the impromptu painting competition, followed at 9:00 AM by the inauguration of the photography exhibition and at 9:30 AM by the opening of the craft market. At noon, the food stalls opened; at 3:00 PM, the roasted chestnuts arrived, and the creative workshops curated by the association Il Viaggio di Leo began; at 6:00 PM, the painting competition awards ceremony and the musical evening in Piazza Vacuna took place.

Sunday reopened at 9:00 AM with the market and photography exhibition, at 10:00 AM the guided walk in the historic center and towards the Villa of Horace, at 10:30 AM the duo Francesco Costa on guitar and Giulio Luchetti on organetto, at 11:00 AM the workshops for children, at noon the stalls, at 3:00 PM the roasted chestnuts, and at 3:30 PM the folk music of the group Erre Sei. A weekend that confirmed Roccagiovine as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Aniene Valley.
