Edition 2025 — Maenza Chestnut Festival

The 2025 edition of the Roasted Chestnut and Olive Oil Festival took place in Maenza on Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, in the historic center of the village. For two days, Piazza Santa Reparata became a meeting place for gastronomy and entertainment, featuring stalls with local dishes and delicacies, the scent of roasted chestnuts in the air, extra virgin olive oil tastings, live music in the evening, and family-oriented activities.

Organized by the Pro Loco of Maenza, the 2025 edition of the Roasted Chestnut and Olive Oil Festival brought the historic center of the Monti Lepini town, in the province of Latina, to life for two days.

The headquarters was once again Piazza Santa Reparata, with food stalls opening in the afternoon: roasted chestnuts, chestnut-based menus, bruschetta, and tastings of local extra virgin olive oil. Friday evening was dedicated to live music and DJ sets, while Saturday focused primarily on families, with Pony Games, immersive workshops, and entertainment for children, before closing with music.

An edition marked by continuity, confirming the simple and participatory formula of the event: local products, local volunteering, and a medieval village as a natural backdrop.

Programme

Friday, October 24: opening of food stalls in the afternoon in Piazza Santa Reparata, extra virgin olive oil tastings and chestnut menu, live music and DJ sets in the evening. Saturday, October 25: food stalls, Pony Games, workshops and children's entertainment, evening musical performances.
