Roasted Chestnut and Novello Wine Festival

The 15th edition of the Roasted Chestnut and Novello Wine Festival was held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the charming square of Contrada Cocolicchio, a hillside hamlet of Fasano, in the province of Brindisi. Organized by the Cocolicchio Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Fasano, the festival began at 7 PM and continued until late at night.

The stars of the evening were the flavors of the Apulian autumn: roasted chestnuts, local novello wine, fried péttole, and focaccia baked in a wood-fired oven. The square was enlivened by the folk music and dances of the group Aneme all'antik, along with the traditional rural raffle. The event attracted numerous visitors and tourists from neighboring towns, confirming its status as one of the most beloved autumn events in the area.
