Edition 2025 — Roast Suckling Pig Festival
37th Roast Suckling Pig Festival — July 17-20, 2025
From July 17 to 20, 2025, the hamlet of Camporota di Treia (MC) hosted the 37th edition of the Roast Suckling Pig Festival, confirming the tradition of the second to last week of July. The event, with free admission and open to all citizens, offered four evenings of celebration, from 9:00 PM on Thursday until 11:00 PM on Sunday.
At the center of the event, as every year, was the spit-roasted suckling pig prepared by the villagers according to the famous secret recipe. Alongside the food stalls, there were the traditional events related to San Vincenzo, protector of fields and animals, and the re-enactment of threshing, organized by Circolo Acli Pro Camporota in collaboration with the parish committee of Santa Maria in Selva.
