Edition 2025 — Anchovy Festival

The 65th edition of the Bagnun Festival enlivened Riva Trigoso in July 2025 at the Giardini di Borgo Ponente, with tastings of the typical anchovy bagnun, food stalls, live music, and fireworks. A historic and free event dedicated to the maritime tradition of the Sestri Levante hamlet.

The 2025 edition, the 65th, confirmed the Bagnun Festival as one of the most beloved gastronomic events in the Tigullio region. At the Giardini di Borgo Ponente in Riva Trigoso, tastings of the anchovy bagnun, musical evenings, stalls, and traditional fireworks took place.

Organized by the Associazione Bagnun Onlus with the Municipality of Sestri Levante, the festival renewed the celebration of a humble and iconic dish, a symbol of Riva Trigoso's maritime culture.
