Secret Codes - In Praise of Madness
The 21st edition of the Ritratti Festival in Monopoli, directed by Antonia Valente, was held from July 3 to August 10, 2025, with the theme "Secret Codes - In Praise of Madness." The program featured twelve evening concerts spanning classical music, singer-songwriter tracks, and contemporary sounds.
The calendar opened with the voice of Cristina Donà and multi-instrumentalist Saverio Lanza with "Spiriti Guida." Guests also included bandoneonist Marcelo Nisinman, singer Anne-Lise Binard, narrator Crescenza Guarnieri, and the Ritratti Festival Ensemble. The Ritratti Exhibit - Angels, Dreams, Muses section, dedicated to contemporary art, featured photographer Francesco Zizola and three "concerts in exhibition" at the Church of Sant'Angelo. The edition also celebrated opera with the "Regine della Scena" gala.
