Edition 2025 — Ritratti di Poesia

On April 8, 2025, the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome hosted the 18th edition of Ritratti di Poesia, promoted by the Fondazione Roma. For about ten hours, over 40 Italian and international poets took turns on stage across 22 meetings, with free admission. The Fondazione Roma - Ritratti di Poesia Prize was awarded to Nanni Cagnone, while the International Prize celebrated the German poet Michael Krüger.

Ritratti di Poesia 2025: the 18th edition

The eighteenth edition of Ritratti di Poesia was held on April 8, 2025, at the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome, promoted by the Fondazione Roma. As per tradition, the event offered a long day of free-entry programming, featuring over 40 Italian and foreign guests across 22 meetings.

International protagonists included the Irishman Colm Tóibín, the Romanian Mircea Cărtărescu, the Briton Simon Armitage, and the German Michael Krüger, alongside Italian voices such as Luca Barbarossa, Daniela Attanasio, and Nicola Bultrini. The Fondazione Roma - Ritratti di Poesia Prize was awarded to Nanni Cagnone for his career as a great Italian poet, while the International Prize was conferred upon Michael Krüger.
