Rite of Light

The 2025 edition of the Rite of Light took place over the summer solstice weekend in Motta d'Affermo, on the theme 'Enchantment of the Invisible', dedicated to the regeneration of beauty as a regeneration of the soul.

Saturday featured guided tours starting at 11:00 AM of the new works at the Atelier sul Mare in Villa Margi, a seaside hamlet of Reitano. On Sunday, from 4:30 PM until sunset, the Rite of Light was celebrated at the Piramide - 38° Parallelo: visitors walked through a dark tunnel, illuminated only by external light, proceeding in the dark until reaching the pyramid at the moment of the solstice, accompanied by singing, dance, and music.

The event, conceived by Antonio Presti as part of Fiumara d'Arte, reaffirmed its mission to unite contemporary art, spirituality, and the Nebrodi landscape.
