Risen Christ Procession

The 2025 edition

Easter 2025 fell on April 20, and Tarquinia, in the province of Viterbo, celebrated the triumph of life as it does every year with its most spectacular procession. The day began at 10:00 AM with Holy Mass at the Church of Saint Joseph; at 4:30 PM, the bearers gathered in the cloister of Saint Marco and, after the blessing in front of the Church of Saint Leonardo, the statue of the Risen Christ left Saint Joseph at 6:00 PM for the traditional route through the historic center. Thousands of people, including citizens and visitors from all over the Tuscia region, followed the "run" of the Christ amidst blank shots, draped windows, and the notes of the band, in an edition also followed live and on social media with professional photography.
