Riposto Carnival 2025
The 2025 edition of the Riposto Carnival, in the province of Catania, took place from February 23 to March 4, involving the historic center and the hamlets of the Municipality.
The festivities kicked off on Sunday, February 23 from 9:30 AM in the square of Carruba, with mascots, masked parades, group dances, and a show cooking event dedicated to maccheroni al ferretto. On Thursday, February 27, a parade started from Villa Pantano along Corso Italia to Piazza San Pietro, featuring Disney characters and chiacchiere prepared by the students of the 'G. Falcone' Hotel Institute.
Saturday, March 1, it was Torre Archirafi's turn, in Piazza Scarcella, with shows, soap bubbles, bouncy castles, and parades. On Sunday, March 2, in Piazza San Pietro, 'The Village of King Carnival' was staged with games, music, and entertainment. The event closed on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, with the Grand Carnival Ball organized by Riposto dance schools, featuring stilt walkers, mascots, and a funfair.
