Rimini–Verucchio

The 42nd edition of the Rimini–Verucchio, nicknamed the "Classic of the Malatesta Castles" and paired with the 26th Memorial Fausto Martignoni, took place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, with the start from the center of Rimini and the finish in Piazza Battaglini, Verucchio. Over the 21.5 kilometers of the race, passing through San Paolo, Monte Cieco, and Coste di Sgrigna, Ismail El Haissoufi of Atletica Rimini Nord dominated, crossing the finish line in 1h20'35", ahead of Davide Venerucci (1h21'44") and Andrea Pellegrini (1h21'51"). Among women, victory went to Federica Moroni, also from Atletica Rimini Nord, in 1h35'12", ahead of Melissa Michelotti and Romina Rigoni. The event, organized by A.S.D. Golden Club Rimini under the aegis of UISP and with the patronage of the Municipalities of Rimini and Verucchio, attracted athletes from various Italian regions and abroad.
