Rigoso Saint Mary Festival

The 2025 edition

In 2025, the Saint Mary Festival once again enlivened Rigoso, a hamlet of Monchio delle Corti (Province of Parma), on the Feast of the Assumption. True to tradition, the festival offered excellent fried cake with local cured meats for lunch and, in the evening, the grand polenta with sausage sauce, mushroom, or gorgonzola sauce.

Craft stalls and the dance party in the square, with music and dancing until late at night, completed a day that has been the most anticipated event of the summer for generations for the community of the highest village in the Parma Apennines.
