The Crafts of Music

In 2025, the European Music Festival in Rieti chose as its central theme The Crafts of Music: not just those on stage, but also those working behind the scenes, from teaching to lutherie, from production to organization. The first weekend, June 21 and 22, concentrated two days of free meetings, live performances, and educational moments in Piazza San Rufo and the Church of San Rufo.

From June to the end of July

The calendar then extended throughout the month of July with the Assonances series curated by Antonio Sacco, opened on June 21 by Souls in Blues - From Billie to Amy and continued on July 2 with a tribute to Prince and Fela Kuti. There was also space for the young people of the Crescendo project led by Maestro Sandro Sacco, the Rieti Canta group, the Oprachina trio, and the two final event-concerts by the Musì Trio, Radio in Black and White and When Music is Cinema, on July 26 and 31. A widespread formula that confirmed the event's role in the summer calendar of the Sabina capital, in the Lazio region.
