Rieti Christmas Market (MAKO Square)

The 2025-2026 Edition

The Rieti Christmas Market enlivened the M.A.K.O. square — the farm-to-table agricultural market of the Montepiano Reatino — from December 20, 2025, to January 6, 2026, covering the entire holiday season up to Epiphany.

The opening on Saturday, December 20, was greeted by a musical performance by the Rieti Band, which officially kicked off the event. In the following weeks, the square's stalls offered numerous gift ideas, as well as many ideas for decorating the home during the holidays, accompanied by Christmas sweets and gastronomic specialties from producers in the Rieti area.

The edition was part of a particularly lively city Christmas calendar: during the same period, the historic center of Rieti hosted craft markets, concerts by the Città di Rieti and Lisciano bands, children's shows at the Teatro Flavio Vespasiano, and the traditional New Year's Eve event in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.

Admission to the market was free for the entire duration of the event.
