Edition 2025 — Ricotta and Cannolo Festival
The seventh edition of the Ricotta and Cannolo Festival took place in Mussomeli on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, 2025, in honor of San Pasquale.
On Saturday, May 3, from 8:30 PM, the festival opened with the Love Dancing group show with choreographer Petronela Calciu, followed by the comedy duo "Duo di Coppe"; from 9:00 PM, free distribution of ricotta, tuma, and cannoli. On Sunday, May 4, activities began at 8:30 AM with a breakfast featuring warm ricotta; from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, distribution of cannoli; at 12:30 PM, tasting of pasta with fava beans and ricotta; in the afternoon, from 5:00 PM, entertainment with folk groups. The edition confirmed the strong bond between gastronomy, pastoral tradition, and the patronal feast in the heart of the Caltanissetta province.
